Saturday Nights Main Event Predictions: January 24, 2026

Hey guys! Happy New Year & welcome to my first blog post of 2026.

Tonight is Saturday Nights Main Event so this week, I will, of course, be doing my predictions.

Let's get into it.

Cody Rhodes vs Jacob Fatu

The first match confirmed so far (obviously, not in order) in Cody Rhodes vs Jacob Fatu.

I think Jacob Fatu is going to win because this is his first match back in a couple of months & being the beast that he is, I'd be pretty surprised if he doesn't win. Also, with everything going on with Jacob/Cody/Drew, I am expecting some interference from Drew McIntyre.

RhIyo (Rhea Ripley & Iyo Sky) (C) vs Judgment Day (Liv Morgan & Roxanne Perez)

The next match is RhIyo vs the Judgment Day for the women's tag team championships.

I think RhIyo is going to win because Liv Morgan is a favorite to win the Royal Rumble next week & go on to Wrestlemania to face the champion of her choosing so, if that's the case, I think WWE would want her to solidify herself as a major competitor other than going after the women's tag team titles. I can also see RhIyo being champions until at least Wrestlemania.

Randy Orton vs Damian Priest vs Trick Williams vs Sami Zayn

The next match is Randy Orton vs Damian Priest vs Trick Williams vs Sami Zayn. The winner will be the no. 1 contender for the undisputed WWE title & will face Drew McIntyre for the title next Saturday at the Royal Rumble (I'M SO EXCITED!)

I was going back & forth with Randy & Sami but I think I'm going to go with Sami simply because SNME is being held in Montreal which is where Sami is from & the last time he won a match in Montreal was at Elimination Chamber 2023 & it was a huge hit with fans so imagine what a win with title implications would do.

AJ Styles vs Shinsuke Nakamura

The final match confirmed so far is AJ Styles vs Shinsuke Nakamura.

I think AJ Styles is going to win because apparently, he will be retiring this year. So, if that's the case, I can see him going out pretty dominantly & with a bang (& obviously some banger matches).
