Royal Rumble 2026 Predictions

Hey, guys! Welcome to another blog post.

This week, I am doing my predictions for my favorite WWE event of the entire year - the Royal Rumble which is tomorrow at 2pm est (3:30pm where I live) on Netflix. I look forward to the Royal Rumble every year simply for the surprises.

In this post, I will be covering my predictions for each match as well as my entry predictions.

So, let's get into it.

As always, these matches are not in order.

AJ Styles vs Gunther

The first match confirmed so far is AJ Styles vs Gunther. If AJ loses, he will be forced to retire. If AJ wins, he will replace Gunther in the Royal Rumble match.

I love AJ Styles. He is one of my favorites. However, as much as I would love to see him win & stay in WWE, I think Gunther is going to win because I think Shinsuke Nakamura kind of spoiled the ending of this match by making a post on his Instagram story indicating that AJ was going to retire at the Royal Rumble. Drew McIntyre (c) vs Sami Zayn

The next match is Drew McIntyre vs Sami Zayn for the undisputed WWE championship.

I think Drew is going to win because he literally just won the title from Cody Rhodes about 4 weeks ago & knowing how dominant Drew McIntyre is, I definitely do not see him losing the title this soon.

Men's Royal Rumble

The next match is the men's Royal Rumble match. If you aren't familiar with how a Royal Rumble match works, here are the rules:

• Two superstars will start in the ring.

• Every 90 seconds, another superstar will enter until all 30 superstars have entered.

• Superstars are eliminated by going over the TOP rope with BOTH feet hitting the floor.

• The winner receives a championship match at Wrestlemania.

I think this has the potential to be one of the best Royal Rumbles ever.

As for my prediction, this match is probably the hardest one for me to predict so far, but I think I'm going to go with Roman Reigns. When I watch the Royal Rumble, I usually don't want someone to win that's already won before no matter how much I like them. Roman has already won the Royal Rumble in 2015 but I do see him winning this year mostly because he was the champion for about 4 years & he is definitely one of the most dominant wrestlers in WWE.

Women's Royal Rumble

The final match confirmed so far is the women's Royal Rumble match.

This Royal Rumble match is a bit easier for me to predict because there is one woman who's come close to winning the match the last few years & as far as I know, she's been in every women's Royal Rumble so far & that is Liv Morgan. She entered at number 2 last year & she lasted over an hour before being eliminated, she was the runner up in 2024 & 2023 & she is also a former women's champion. She also has great luck in Saudi Arabia which is where the Royal Rumble is held. She deserves this win & I wouldn't be surprised at all if she does win.

Those are all of the matches for the show. I usually like to do my own entry predictions every year (who I think is entering & at what number) even though they're usually hard to ptedict & I do a lot of switching around before the show. So, here are my entry predictions.

Those are all of my entry predictions. However, the Royal Rumble can be unpredictable sometimes & we don't know all of the entrants until all 30 competitors have entered the ring. So, I'm constantly switching names around. So, those are my entry predictions at the moment but I will post my final entry predictions tomorrow on Instagram during the kickoff show. So, whatever entry predictions are on Instagram tomorrow, those are final & I will not be doing any more switching/changing.
