Fastlane 2019 Predictions!

Hey guys! For today's blog post, I'm going to tell you my Fastlane predictions. If you don't know what Fastlane is, it's a WWE pay-per-view.

Now, I get it. Not all of you are WWE fans but some of you may be. I'm also a WWE fan and every saturday before a WWE PPV, I always upload a predictions video on my WWE YouTube channel, Brianna's WWE Reactions, so obviously I uploaded one last night.

Where I'm from, the preshow starts 7:30pm and the main show starts 8:30.

Before I start, I'm just gonna point out that the match are not in order. I also wanted to point out that some of the wrestlers names have (c) by them. That means the champions heading into the match.

I'm very excited to tell you my predictions, so I'm just gonna start with the preshow.

The first match on the preshow is Shinsuke Nakamura and Rusev vs The new day (Big E and Xavier Woods - I think The new day will win because Rusev has not won a pay-per-view match since Roadblock: End of the Line back in December 2016. That's almost 3 years ago. So I think that streak will keep going for a while and the new day will win.

The next match on the preshow is Andrade vs Rey Mysterio. I think Andrade will win because I find Rey doesn't win much PPV matches. He does win more PPV matches than Rusev, yes but I feel like Andrade wins more PPV matches than Rey so I'm gonna go with Andrade.

Now, onto the main show.

The first match on the main show is a triple threat match for the RAW tag team championship.

The Revival (Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson) (c) vs Chad Gable and Bobby Roode vs Aleister Black and Ricochet. I'm sticking with the Revival because they won the titles not too long ago and they're a pretty great tag team so I don't see them losing the titles at least until Wrestlemania or a little later.

The next match is one I'm really excited for. Charlotte Flair vs Becky Lynch. This match also has kind of a stipulation which if Becky wins, she will be added to the RAW women's championship match at Wrestlemania next month and that match will then become a triple threat. I'm sticking with my girl, Becky. Period. Mainly because normally, in matches where if so-and-so wins, they will be added to another title match, that so-and-so normally wins. So, I'm going with Becky.

The next match is another match I'm very excited for. It's a 6 man tag tem match. The shield (Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, and Dean Ambrose) vs Bobby Lashley, Baron Corbin and Drew McIntyre. Obviously, I'm going with my favorites in this match, the shield because y'know. They're the shield and they destroy pretty much every single thing in their path. Also, because they just reunited a week ago on RAW.

The next match is for the WWE championship. Daniel Bryan (c) vs Kevin Owens. It was originally supposed to be Kofi Kingston vs Daniel Bryan but a few weeks ago on SmackDown, there was a contract signing for that specific match. Daniel signed the contract and as soon as Kofi's pen hit the contract, the boss, Vince McMahon comes out and says "Kofi, I'm replacing you with someone who's MORE DESERVING." Which, don't get me wrong, Kevin does deserve this title opportunity but if I'm being completely honest, not as much as Kofi. Kevin has had title shots thousands of times and he hasn't been around as long as Kofi. Kofi's been around for 11 years and his first match for the WWE championship was literally last month at Elimination chamber. I'm fine with Kevin getting his shot tonight as long as Kofi gets his shot AND wins at Wrestlemania. With that being said, I would rather see Kofi face Daniel at Wrestlemania and I believe that is going to happen so, I'm picking Daniel.

The next match is also very excited for. It's for the SmackDown women's championship. Asuka (c) vs Mandy Rose. I'm predicting Mandy Rose will win. I love Asuka. She's one of my favorites but I don't think she'll win tonight. I think Mandy will do what she did a couple of weeks ago. She was in a match with her opponent tonight, Asuka and Mandy faked an eye injury. She then, rolled Asuka up and pinned her for the win. If she did that a couple of weeks ago, she can definitely do that tonight and become the new Smacdown women's champion.

The next match is for the SmackDown tag team championship. The Usos (c) vs Shane McMahon and The Miz. I have a whole freaking plan for this one. Fastlane is in the Miz's hometown (Cleveland, OH) and normally, if an event is in a specific wrestlers hometown, that wrestler normally doesn't win so, I think the Usos will win by a roll up on The Miz and Shane will get pissed and he will turn heel and betray the Miz.

The final match is for the Women's tag team championship. The boss n' hug connection (Sasha Banks and Bayley) (c) vs the Samoan slaughterhouse (Nia Jax and Tamina). I'm going with Bayley and Sasha because because they became the inaugural women's tag team champions last month at Elimination Chamber. Also, Sasha normally loses her title in her first defense and I think that streak will end tonight and Bayley and Sasha will retain those titles.

Those are all of my predictions. If you're a WWE fan like me, let me know you're predictions and that is it for this weeks blog post.

I'm still not sure if I'm doing a flashback Friday this week but just in case I'm not, come back sometime next week for another blog post.

Until then,

~Brianna
