Clash in Italy Predictions

Hey guys! Welcome to another blog post.

This Sunday is Clash in Italy, so, this week, I am doing my predictions. So, let's get into it.

Cody Rhodes (c) vs Gunther

The first match confirmed so far is Cody Rhodes vs Gunther for the undisputed wwe championship.

I think Cody is going to win because his reign is still young & I can see him holding the title until at least Summerslam, especially in a big match like this. I also feel like Gunther doesn't need the title yet. He's already extremely dominant without the title so if he's going to win the title, I think it should be at one of the bigger shows like Summerslam or Wrestlemania.

Rhea Ripley (c) vs Jade Cargill

The next match is Rhea Ripley vs Jade Cargill for the women's championship. I think Rhea is going to win simply because this is her first title defense since winning the title at Wrestlemania.

Roman Reigns (c) vs Jacob Fatu

The next match is tribal combat which is basically a no DQ match & it will be Roman Reigns vs Jacob Fatu for the world heavyweight championship. As much as I adore Jacob Fatu & I will love to see him as champion eventually, I don't think this is the time. Roman just won the title at Wrestlemania & after holding the title for four years straight in 2020-2024, I don't see him losing the title this soon. Also, this is tribal combat & as we all know, Roman Reigns is the OTC (original tribal chief).

Becky Lynch (c) vs Sol Ruca

The next match is Becky Lynch vs Sol Ruca for women's intercontinental championship.

I love both of these women so I don't really care who wins. As for my prediction, I can see Sol being champion in the future but this is only her first title match so I don't see it happening this soon.

Oba Femi vs Brock Lesnar

The final match confirmed so far is Oba Femi vs Brock Lesnar. Oba is one of my favorites but I think Brock is going to win because after Brock lost to Oba at Wrestlemania, Brock left Wrestlemania leaving fans shocked thinking that he was retiring. Only for him to return & attack Oba on Raw about a month later. So, I think, because of the surprise aspect, Brock is going to be upset about his loss at Wrestlemania & get the win over Oba.

Those are all of my predictions. Since this is only Thursday & we still have Smackdown tomorrow night, there may be more matches announced during or after Smackdown (usually, there's not but you never know). I am a bit sick at the moment so, if I'm feeling better by Sunday, I will post my predictions on YouTube on Sunday & I will also post my predictions on X & Instagram as well. You guys will also have the chance to voice your predictions on there, too.
