Backlash 2026 Predictions

Hey guys! Welcome to another blog post. Tonight is WWE Backlash so, this week, I am doing my predictions. So, let's get into it.
The first match confirmed so far (as always, not in order) is Seth Rollins vs Bron Breakker. I think Bron is going to win simply because he is the future of this business & having Seth win would essentially halt Bron's momentum & proves Seth right: Bron has put all of his eggs in the wrong basket by aligning himself with Paul Heyman & the Vision instead of sitting under Seth's learning tree.
The next match is Trick Williams vs Sami Zayn for the United States championship. I think Trick is going to win because he just won the title at Wrestlemania only 3 weeks ago. Also, a Sami vs Cody feud has been teased a lot recently so, having Sami win could potentially cause a full heel turn & kick off that Cody vs Sami feud.
The next match is Iyo Sky vs Asuka. It's such a shame that Kairi was released especially now that this storyline will basically be unfinished. However, based on recent rumours & speculation, I can see Kairi returning for one night only just to finish this storyline & turn on Asuka to help Iyo win. So, I'm going with Iyo.
The next match is Danhausen & a mystery partner vs The Miz & Kit Wilson. Regardless of who his partner is, I think Danhausen & his partner are going to win because Danhausen is undefeated in WWE so far & especially with having a mystery partner, I think Danhausen & his partner are going to win.
The final match confirmed so far is Roman Reigns vs Jacob Fatu for the world heavyweight championship.
I think Roman is going to win because he just won the title at Wrestlemania not even a month ago & he held the WWE championship for almost four years before he lost it. So, if he lost this title when he only won it not even a month ago, I will be extremely surprised.
