So, earlier this week, my parents and I went to the movie theater and watched "I still believe," so, I decided to talk about the movie in this week's blog. Just a warning: there will be some spoilers. So, if you're planning on watching the movie, watch the movie first if you don't want to know what happens.
So, the movie is a Christian movie about a man named Jeremy Camp who falls in love with girl who ends up in a hospital about 30-45 minutes into the movie.
So, here is where the spoilers start.
So, the movie starts off with Jeremy getting ready for some type of school.
On his first day, he goes to a concert and he sees a girl named Melissa. At the end of the concert, they start talking to each other.
The next day, they were both outside and Jeremy was playing his guitar. Melissa noticed him and started talking to him. At the end of their conversation, Melissa told Jeremy that she's going to the beach that night and she wants him to go with her.
A few hours later, Jeremy decides to join Melissa at the beach but Melissa also invited her friend, John Luke. While they were at the beach, Jeremy started singing a song with his guitar.
A bunch of stuff happened after that but I'm not going to talk about that.
Anyway, before Melissa ended up in the hospital, her and Jeremy had a fight.
After their fight, Jeremy went home for Christmas. In the middle of the night, his dad came into his room and told him John Luke was on the phone and it seemed important.
Long story short, Melissa had cancer.
So, Jeremy went to visit her and while he was there, he actually proposed to her.
Not much happened for about 15-30 minutes, until Melissa becomes cancer free.
About 10 minutes later, in the middle of the night, Melissa felt sick. Jeremy rushed her to the hospital to find out that the cancer is back and there is nothing that the doctors can do.
So, Jeremy spent as much time with her as possible and it lead to the point where he hasn't slept for more than 2 days.
One night, Melissa told Jeremy and her sister (who was also there) that she was healed and that she can feel it. Jeremy went to get the doctor and while he was gone, Melissa passed away.
At the end of the movie, Jeremy had another concert and he met another girl named Adrienne.
So, that's basically what happened in the movie (well, most of it).
I loved the movie and I am definitely going to buy it when it comes out on DVD.
