DWTS Bond Night Recap

Hey guys! Welcome to another blog post.

Today, I am doing my DWTS Bond Night recap. So, let's get into it.

Charli & Mark

Dance - Rumba

Song - "No Time to Die" by Billie Eilish

James Bond film - No Time to Die

Judges' scores - 8, 8, 8, 9 = 33/40

My score - 9

I swear, Mark's choreo is UN-FREAKING-MATCHED! She's such a phenomenal dancer and THE ENDING THO OMG. I do agree with Carrie Ann, though when she says that Charli could emote a bit more outwards but I love them so much and I can't wait to see more from them.

Cheryl & Louis

Dance - Rumba

Song - "Diamonds Are Forever" by Shirley Bassey

James Bond film - Diamonds Are Forever

Judges' scores - 6, 6, 6, 6 = 24/40

My score - 7

100% her best dance. I loved the rumba walks and her lines and hip movements were great. There were some wobbles but that didn't take away from the performance. Also, I'm kinda salty she didn't get at least one 7 but oh well.

Trevor & Emma

Dance - Tango

Song - "You Know My Name" by Chris Cornell

James Bond film - Casino Royale

Judges' scores - 7, 6, 7, 7 = 27/40

My score - 7

This was great! However, for the first half of the dance, his frame was amazing but for the second half, it kinda started flopping a bit but I still enjoyed it.

Daniel & Britt

Dance - Rumba

Song - "The World Is Not Enough" by Garbage

James Bond film - The World Is Not Enough

Judges' scores - 8, 7, 8, 8 = 31/40

My score - 7.5

This was amazing! The only thing about it is there could've been more hip movements but I still loved it.

Jordin & Brandon

Dance - Rumba

Song - "License to Kill" by Gladys Knight

James Bond film - License to Kill

Judges' scores - 7, 7, 7, 8 = 29/40

My score - 8

Y'all, this was amazing. HER HIPS! Yes, please. Her lines were amazing. I do agree with judges about her turns, though. They were a bit messy at times but this was a solid rumba and to me, it was her best dance so far.

Sam & Cheryl

Dance - Samba

Song - "Los Muertos Vivos Estan" by Thomas Newman, featuring Tambuco

James Bond film - Sprectre

Judges' scores - 6, 6, 6, 7 = 25/40

My score - 6

This wasn't that bad. He really impressed me this week. However, there were some heel leads and I wish there were some more hip movement.

Selma & Sasha

Dance - Rumba

Song - "For Your Eyes Only" by Sheena Easton

James Bond film - For Your Eyes Only

Judges' scores - 7, 7, 7, 7 = 28/40

My score - 7.5

This was beautiful. The hip movements were great and her legs were amazing! The only thing is that her lines were a bit flaily and her lines were just kinda straight but still, amazing.

Wayne & Witney

Dance - Tango

Song - "The Name's Bond...James Bond" by David Arnold & Nicholas Dodd

James Bond film - Casino Royale

Judges' scores - 8, 8, 8, 9 = 33/40

My score - 8

I'm telling y'all, this man can PERFORM. He gives me such winner vibe. His frame was amazing. His footwork needs to improve a bit more but he ate that up and I'm so proud of them.

Vinny & Koko

Dance - Rumba

Song - "Thunderball" by Tom Jones

James Bond film - Thunderball

Judges' scores - 6, 5, 6, 6 = 23/40

My score - 7

I think this was his best dance so far. His hip action was quite decent and his lines were pretty nice, too. His feet needs a bit more work, though. The choreo was amazing btw.

Heidi & Artem

Dance - Argentine tango

Song - "Another Way to Die" by Jack White & Alicia Keys

James Bond film - Quantum of Solace

Judges' scores - 8, 8, 8, 8 = 32/40

My score - 7.5

This was definitely her best dance. Her legs were sharp and arm placements were great. There were a couple of moments in the dance where she did freeze a little bit but still a solid performance.

Shangela & Gleb

Dance - Rumba

Song - "GoldenEye" by Tina Turner

James Bond film - GoldenEye

Judges' scores - 8, 7, 7, 8 = 30/40

My score - 8.5

Y'ALL EXCUSE ME! This was so fierce and sexy and it's without a doubt my favorite rumba of the season so far. Her performance level is insane and she is such a queen. Can't wait for next week.

Jessie & Alan

Dance - Rumba

Song - "Goldfinger" by Shirley Bassey

James Bond film - Goldfinger

Judges' scores - 6, 6, 7, 7 = 26/40

My score - 6.5

I agree with the judges when they said it wasn't her best dance but it wasn't her worst either. I feel like her legs could've been a bit more straight and it was kinda "stop and pose" but I still really enjoyed it.

Joseph & Alexis

Dance - Argentine tango

Song - "Writing's on the Wall" by Sam Smith

James Bond film - Spectre

Judges' scores - 8, 7, 7, 7 = 29/40

My score - 7.5

This was definitely his best dance. His footwork still needs a bit more work but I still loved this and they looked incredible.

Gabby & Val

Dance - Cha Cha

Song - "Die Another Day" by Madonna

James Bond film - Die Another Day

Judges' scores - 8, 8, 8, 9 = 33/40

My score - 8.5

Yeah, she ate that! There was a little bit of the dance that kinda threw me off but it was definitely one of my favorite dances of the night.

So, those are all of the dances. Now, I'll reveal my rankings solely based on personal enjoyment:

  1. Charli & Mark's rumba

  2. Shangela & Gleb's rumba

  3. Wayne & Witney's tango

  4. Gabby & Val's cha cha
