Welcome back to another blog post!
So, if you guys don't know, one of my favorite shows of all time is Dancing With The Stars (DWTS). I've been watching it since I was about 8 years old, along with my mom. This season is their 29th season and they have a new host (Tyra Banks). The season starts September 14th and just like last year, when DWTS starts, I'll be doing blog posts twice a week. I'll be doing DWTS recaps every Monday and a regular blog post another day of the week until the season ends.
They revealed the pros a couple of weeks ago so, this week, I'm going to tell you about all of the pros this season. Next Sunday, I will do my Payback predictions and since the DWTS cast reveal is next Wednesday, I'll do my blog post about that in 2 weeks.
So, let's get started!
This will be Brandon's third season a a pro. His first season was season 27 with Tinashe and he was on last season (season 28) with Mary Wilson. He was also a mentor on DWTS Juniors.
This is Alan's fifth time competing as a pro. He was a mentor on DWTS juniors and he won season 28 with Hannah Brown.
Although Sharna wasn't a pro last season, this is her 13th time as a pro and she won season 27 with Bobby Bones.
This is Cheryl's 23rd time as a pro. She won seasons 2 & 3 with Drew Lachey and Emmitt Smith. Since then, she has been in the finals 5 times.
After missing season 28 last year, Artem is back! He has not won DWTS yet, but he has won the British version (Strictly come dancing). He just had a baby boy with his fiance Nikki Bella (WWE superstar).
This is Val's 15th season as a pro. He has won seasons 20 and 23 with Rumor Willis and Laurie Hernandez. He's also been in the finals seven times.
This is Sasha's eighth season as a pro. He has made the finals twice but has never won the mirrorball.
This is Jenna's fifth season as a pro. She won on her second season with Adam Rippon.
This is Daniella's first season as a pro. She is married to fellow pro, Pasha and her and Pasha also competed on NBC's World of Dance.
This is Keo's ninth season as a pro. He has only made the finals once with Evanna Lynch but he has never won.
This is Peta's 13th season on the show and she's made the finals twice. She won both times with Donald Driver (season 14) and Nyle DiMarco (season 22).
This is his second season on the show. He finished seventh place last season with Kate Flannery.
This is Gleb's eighth season on the show. His best result was in fourth places with Jana Kramer and Lauren Alaina.
This will be Emma's 12th season as a pro. She's only made the finals once and won that season with Rashad Jennings.
The last pro is Britt Stewart. This is her first time as a pro. She was on DWTS before but never as a full-time pro. Just as a troupe dancer. She also appeared as a dancer in La La Land and Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist.
Those are all of the pros. The show starts September 14th and the entire cast will be revealed on Wednesday, September 2nd!
