Hey guys! Welcome to my DWTS recap for Disney night. This week, all couples danced to a song from a disney show, movie, etc.
Let's get into it.

Dance: Quickstep
Song: "Life Is a Highway" from Cars
Judges' scores: 7, 8, 8 = 23/30
My score: 7.5
I think this is one of his better dances, technique-wise. His frame & footwork was pretty solid
but his free arm is kinda wonky.
Check out their dance: Dylan Efron’s Disney Night Quickstep | Dancing with the Stars

Dance: Quickstep
Song: "I Wan'na Be Like You (The Monkey Song)" from The Jungle Book
Judges' scores: 7, 7, 7 = 21/30
My score: 7.5
This was so fun & she performed the heck out of this dance. I did notice the mistake but it was only minor so whatever.
Check out their dance: Danielle Fishel’s Disney Night Quickstep | Dancing with the Stars

Dance: Salsa
Song: "Bop to the Top" from High School Musical
Judges' scores: 7, 7, 7 = 21/30
My score: 8
I LOVED this! The choreo was everything. He was very loose & the hip movement was great (fr the hips at the beginning during the "mucho gusto" part had me shook). It wasn't the best dance of the season but I can't stop watching it & honestly, it's one of the most entertaining dances of the season so far (imo). I'm obsessed!
Also, extremely underscored!
Check out their dance: (59) Scott Hoying’s Disney Night Salsa | Dancing with the Stars - YouTube

Dance: Viennese Waltz
Song: "Once Upon a Dream" from Maleficent
Judges' scores: 8, 8, 8 = 24/30
My score: 8.5
This is definitely her best dance so far (her Quickstep is a very close second lol). Her frame was nice & she ate this up! I loved the choreo, too.
Check out their dance: Alix Earle’s Disney Night Viennese Waltz | Dancing with the Stars

Dance: Quickstep
Song: "Cantina Band" from Star Wars: A New Hope
Judges' scores: 8, 7, 8 = 23/30
My score: 8
This was fun to watch & I liked the choreo! I wish there were more moments in frame but it was still a solid performance & I loved watching it. Also, this may be an unpopular opinion but she was one of my favorites season & obviously, one of the best so it sucks to see her go (imo).
Check out their dance: (60) Hilaria Baldwin’s Disney Night Quickstep | Dancing with the Stars - YouTube

Dance: Viennese Waltz
Song: "Le Festin" from Ratatouille
Judges' scores: 6, 6, 6 = 18/30
My score: 6
This is one of his better dances, imo. It was still just a bit stiff & flat footed. His frame still needs some work, too.
Check out their dance: (60) Andy Richter’s Disney Night Viennese Waltz | Dancing with the Stars - YouTube

Dance: Cha Cha
Song: "Try Everything" from Zootopia
Judges' scores: 7, 7, 8 = 22/30
My score: 7
This obviously wasn't his best dance but I still liked it & I liked the choreo, too. I just wish there was more hip movement.
Check out their dance: (60) Robert Irwin’s Disney Night Cha Cha | Dancing with the Stars - YouTube

Dance: Quickstep
Song: "Space Mountain" from Space Mountain
Judges' scores: 8, 8, 8 = 24/30
My score: 8
This is one of her best dances. I just think she could move a bit bigger at times & some of her moves seem a bit small & timid to me.
Check out their dance: (60) Elaine Hendrix’s Disney Night Quickstep | Dancing with the Stars - YouTube

Dance: Foxtrot
Song: "The Room Where It Happens" from Hamilton
Judges' scores: 9, 8, 8 = 25/30
My score: 8
This was extremely entertaining. The only thing I didn't like about it is that it barely had any content IN HOLD & it kind of felt more like I was watching a Jazz than a Foxtrot (if this was an actual Jazz, I would've given this a 9 or a 10) but whatever. I still loved it.
Check out their dance: Whitney Leavitt’s Disney Night Foxtrot | Dancing with the Stars

Dance: Quickstep
Song: "Special Spice" from Tiana's Bayou Adventure
Judges' scores: 8, 8, 8 = 24/30
My score: 8.5
This was definitely the best Quickstep of the night for sure! She was light on her feet & so smooth. Her frame was incredible! The choreo was cute, too. I loved this!
Check out their dance: Jordan Chiles’ Disney Night Quickstep | Dancing with the Stars

Dance: Jazz
Song: "Friend Like Me" from Aladdin
Judges' scores: 7, 8, 8 = 23/30
My score: 7.5
This was cute & it was definitely her best dance so far. I liked the choreo, too. It just didn't stand out to me.
Check out their dance: Jen Affleck’s Disney Night Jazz | Dancing with the Stars
