DWTS 34 Cast

Hey guys! Welcome to another blog post.

The cast for Dancing with the Stars season 34 was announced last Wednesday & this has the potential to be the most competitive & most stacked cast yet. I'm expecting just about everyone to be amazing or at least decent.

DWTS 34 will premiere on Tuesday, September 16 & I am so excited. So, of course, I will be doing my weekly recaps this year as I have done for the past several years.

In this post, I will include pictures of the entire cast as well as their partners & where you may know them from. At the end of this post, I will also rank the couples based on how excited I am to see them perform by watching the cast reveal, interviews, & A LOT of tiktoks from the cast.

Let's get into it.

Jen Affleck & Jan Ravnik

Jen Affleck is best known for the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives but I know her best from tiktok (obviously LOL).

Hilaria Baldwin & Gleb Savchenko

Hilaria Baldwin is a yoga instructor, entrepreneur, author, & podcaster. She is also the wife of actor Alec Baldwin.

Jordan Chiles & Ezra Sosa

Jordan Chiles is a gymnast. She was a member of the gold medal-winning team at the 2024 Summer Olympics, having previously been a member of the silver medal-winning team at the 2020 Summer Olympics. She was also a member of the team that won gold at the 2022

World Championships.

Baron Davis & Britt Stewart

Baron Davis is former professional basketball player who is a television host and sports analyst. He was a two-time NBA All-Star, made the All-NBA Third Team in 2004, and twice led the NBA in steals. He also played in the NBA for the New Orleans Hornets, Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Clippers, Cleveland Cavaliers and New York Knicks.

Alix Earle & Val Chmerkovskiy

Alix Earle is a tiktok star. She is also an entrepreneur & the host of the Hot Mess podcast.

Dylan Efron & Daniella Karagach

Dylan Efron is best known for winning season 3 of the Traitors. He is also the younger brother of Zac Efron.

Corey Feldman & Jenna Johnson

Corey Feldman is an actor & musician. He is best known for his roles in films like the Goonies, Gremlins, & Friday the 13th: the Final Chapter.

Danielle Fishel & Pasha Pashkov

Danielle Fishel is an actress & she is best known as Topanga (QUEEN) on Boy Meets World & Girl Meets World.

Elaine Hendrix & Alan Bersten

Elaine Hendrix is an actress. She is best known for her roles in Dynasty, Superstar, Romy & Michele's High School Reunion, & the Parent Trap.

Scott Hoying & Rylee Arnold

Scott Hoying is a singer & he is best known as a member of the a cappella group Pentatonix.

Robert Irwin & Witney Carson

Robert Irwin is a wildlife conservationist, television presenter, zookeeper, wildlife photographer, & actor. He is son of the late Steve Irwin & the sister of Bindi Irwin who also won DWTS season 21.

Lauren Jauregui & Brandon Armstrong

Lauren Jauregui is a singer best known as a member of Fifth Harmony. She is the third Fifth Harmony member to compete on DWTS. Normani Kordei competed in season 24 & Ally Brooke competed in season 28. Both of them came in 3rd place.

Whitney Leavitt & Mark Ballas

Just like Jen Affleck (who is also on the show), Whitney Leavitt is best known for being on the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. I know both Jen & Whitney best from tiktok (considering I'm on tiktok almost 24/7 LOL).

Andy Richter & Emma Slater

Andy Richter is an actor, comedian, writer, & talk show announcer. He is best known as Conan O'Brien's sidekick.

That's the entire cast. The press release was announced earlier today including the dances for the premiere. Here are all of the dances & songs for the premiere:

1. Alix & Val - Cha Cha to "Circus" by Britney Spears

2. Andy & Emma - Cha Cha to "Hold On, I'm Comin'" by Sam & Dave

3. Baron & Britt - Cha Cha to "U Can't Touch This" by MC Hammer

4. Corey & Jenna - Tango to "It's Still Rock & Roll to Me" by Billy Joel

5. Danielle & Pasha - Tango to "Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)" by Kelly Clarkson

6. Dylan & Daniella - Cha Cha to "Milkshake" by Kelis

7. Elaine & Alan - Cha Cha to "Woman" by Kesha

8. Hilaria & Gleb - Cha Cha to "Let's Get Loud" by Jennifer Lopez

9. Jen & Jan - Salsa to "Nuevayol" by Bad Bunny

10. Lauren & Brandon - Tango to "Yes, And?" by Ariana Grande

11. Robert & Witney - Jive to "Born to be Wild" by Steppenwolf

12. Scott & Rylee - Tango to "Abracadabra" by Lady Gaga

13. Whitney & Mark - Tango to "Golden" by Huntr/x

Those are all of the dances. It hasn't been revealed which song Jordan & Ezra are dancing to yet but all we do know is they are dancing the Salsa.

Now that the whole cast & the dances are covered. Here are my rankings for each couple based on how excited I am that they're on the show & to see them dance:

1. Scott & Rylee - MY TEAM!!!!! I used to watch superfruit on youtube religiously (if you don't know what that is, it's Scott Hoying & Mitch Grassi's youtube channel) & I love Pentatonix. So, I screamed with joy when I found out he was going to be on DWTS. I'm also loving them together so far & what I've seen from him so far seems very promising.

2. Lauren & Brandon - the fifth harmony fan in my is going bonkers for this pairing because fifth harmony was my shit. I don't know if she'll be as good as Ally & Normani but I'm excited to see her dance & I'm loving them together so far.

3. Whitney & Mark - I was originally going to put them a bit lower on this list, but I think I have seen more tiktoks from them than any of the other couples so far & I love their tiktoks together. I just know they're going to do extremely well & I can't wait.

4. Robert & Witney - I'm so excited for this pairing. Robert's sister, Bindi was on the show in season 21 & she won so, as much as I love a lot of the other couples in the cast, I would love to see them win. I just hope he's as good as Bindi if not better.

5. Hilaria & Gleb - okay, hear me out - I didn't know of her before the cast reveal but after following her & watching some of her tiktoks, I'm very excited to see her dance & I'm especially excited to see her latin dances. I understand the controversy & I get why people are mad about her being on the show considering she used to do ballroom dancing & she does a lot of it on tiktok.

6. Jordan & Ezra - I'm loving them together so far & I'm glad Ezra has a partner this season that he can go far with. I've seen their tiktoks & I think she's going to be good & it seems like the fans like her, too, so I can see them going far.

7. Danielle & Pasha - I gasped when she was announced. My mom & I watch this show together religiously & when she was announced, I looked at my mom & said "that's Topanga". I never watched a lot of Boy Meets World but I LOVED Girl Meets World so I'm very excited to see her dance.

8. Alix & Val - she was one of the first celebrities announced for this season & until then, I didn't really know who she was. After following her & watching her tiktoks, I'm very excited to see her perform & she looks pretty promising so far.

9. Dylan & Daniella - I think they will be good together personality-wise. As for the dancing, I don't know what to expect. I haven't seen a lot of content from them either. Also, I agree with Ezra (IYKYK)

10. Jen & Jan - this is Jan's first season as a pro so I'm excited for his choreo & to see what he can do.

11. Baron & Britt - I feel like we didn't really get to hear much from them at the cast reveal so, I kind of forgot they were apart of the cast for a bit LOL.

12. Andy & Emma - I've seen some of their tiktoks together & it seems like they're having a lot of fun & it seems like Andy really wants to be there.

13. Elaine & Alan - I haven't seen much content from them either, but I think she might surprise a lot of people.

14. Corey & Jenna - I was originally going to put them higher on this list, but I've seen less content from them on tiktok & instagram than the rest of the cast. Also, I recently read on facebook that yesterday was their first meeting with each other since the cast reveal which was last Wednesday, so I don't know what to expect.
